We want radical change. No more superficial, half-ass attempts.
We came across the police abolition movement, which calls for community-based alternatives to modern policing. Many which a large portion of Americans would agree with, but dismiss it before advocates can even get a word in.
They brush it aside as too impractical, extreme, or “crazy” to ever work.
We say it’s time to get comfortable with “crazy” ideas. It’s time to rethink what’s possible – focusing more on what’s just than what’s practical.
How do we drive this home? By shining a harsh, unforgiving light on the craziest idea of all: maintaining the status quo.
