As a creative, it has always been hard to find a place to belong. I come from Kenya where you’re only considered successful if you are a doctor, teacher, engineer, pharmacist or lawyer. I know it is even harder for the kids who live in Kenya to pursue their passion. My organization mentors young boys and girls and we teach them that they can be anything they want. They don’t have to force themselves to fit in the small box that has been created by society.
