2020 was a tough time for me, I was spending all my working and leisure hours inside four walls with my four year old niece. While I was lucky enough to be safe, a lot of people out there weren’t, and they needed help.
A game of flash cards with my niece sparked the idea to creat a deck of illustrated cards for a good cause. We reached out to 55+ Indian illustrators to create a pandemic themed deck of cards, all profits from each deck sold were donated to the families who needed daily meals.
We managed to feed 5000+ meals within the first two quarters of the project’s launch, and have been doing so since then.
More than anything, this deck is a bitter sweet reminder of how all of us, collectively, spent the pandemic doing, learning, growing and coping up with a bunch of different emotions.
